The Chris Beaumont School of Dance of Birstall, West Yorkshire was established 22 years ago, and has always been recognised for being one step ahead, especially when it comes to creative choreography which provides tradition with a modern edge. The fantastic reputation of the school is portrayed in the lives of past and present pupils, many of which chose to carry on learning at performance colleges such as Phil Winstons Theatreworks and the Brit School. Others chose to become teachers themselves either locally or Pineapple Studios in London.

Many pupils have gone off to perform in London’s West End in various shows and national tours. Pupils have performed on major cruise liners whilst others have appeared on T.V and become successful recording artistes. Pupils have joined top dance troupes in England and Australia such as Zoonation, Sydney Dance Company and the Avant Garde Dance Company, performing at the aspirations at Trafalgar Square, the Rugrats Tour in Australia, and dancing on stage at Glastonbury. Members of the school have also performed in Music Videos.

The Chris Beaumont School of Dance is one of the leading A.D.F.P Freestyle schools in England, bringing home many Trophies and awards from top Championship competitions, as well as winning titles, Yorkshire Open Winner, Couple of the year and Dancer of the year.

Chris’s qualifications include IDTA LBT.LMJ.AT.ATC. Championship Adjudicator for the Association of Freestyle Dance proffesionals.
